SUSTAINABILITY

Stork (Stone + Cork) seeks to mitigate one of the main problems in the natural stone sector: the excessive amount of waste resulting from the transformation processes. In this sense, our production method makes it possible to double the use of natural stone compared to a current solution in stone. The cork agglomerate used in the composition of Stork is a recycled by-product resulting from the production process of cork stoppers. Cork is a 100% natural and renewable raw material from the cork oak forest in Portugal.

FEATURES

Stork flooring is distinguished by the lightness and thermal and acoustic insulation provided by the cork layer. Developed to provide greater comfort to its users, it can be designed with any natural stone, varying thicknesses and different surface finishes. It also has a very high impact resistance, which makes it an ideal solution if you want a natural stone floor.

USES

Suitable for indoor and outdoor floors. Its low weight and low thickness make it the ideal solution for rehabilitation projects. Suitable for high traffic areas, both for small and large surfaces. It is a waterproof product, so it is suitable for use in bathrooms or kitchens, or even outdoors. The mechanical resistance and elasticity allow its use on decks or technical/raised floors.
